Culet Jewelery (Pas Diamonds B.V.) cares a lot about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services. This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Culet Jewelery (Pas Diamonds B.V.). The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 28/11/2018, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. Webshop software

Shopify 

Our webshop was developed with software from Shopify, who also host our website. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is required to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have made with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Backups are regularly made to prevent data loss.

E-mail and mailing lists

MailChimp

Our website uses MailChimp, a third party that handles the e-mail traffic from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via the MailChimp servers. MailChimp will never use your name and e-mail address for your own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail sent automatically via our website you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. If you click here you will no longer receive e-mail from our website. This can seriously reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that make it clear whether e-mails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data for the further improvement of the services and to share information with third parties.

Gmail

We use the services of Gmail for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Gmail does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

Stripe, Paypal

To handle a (part of) the payments in our web shop we use the platform of Stripe and Paypal. Stripe and Paypal processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Stripe and Paypal has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Stripe and Paypal reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties. Stripe and Paypal, in the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), share personal information and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All the above mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Stripe and Paypal their services for which they engage third parties. Stripe and Paypal does not store your data for longer than allowed by the legal deadlines.

Mikropakket

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of Mikropakket & Fedex to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with Mikropakket or Fedex. Mikropakket or Fedex uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the case that Mikropakket or Fedex enables subcontractors, Mikropakket or Fedex will also provide your data to these parties.
